I think the problem is two fold: (a) endless preaching (b) very heavy inclusivity tick boxing. Its every episode all the time. But thats the BBC in general, not just Dr Who.

Took me a while to reconcile Varada Sethu from Andor - which I adored, being an advace inclusion in this season! I recognised her instantly but was in mild disbelief she was in this season ahead of her S2 companion announcement. Oooh this season is presenting as a huge story arc. yes!!!
